Business Development Manager
Are you ready to build the future of web games? At Poki, we enable game developers to reach millions of players worldwide through our platform.
What this job is about
This game is all about business: creating a strategy for finding and onboarding game developers on Poki, building strong partnerships, and crafting deals that grow Poki's game catalog. When doing this, you balance our developer needs with the needs of our audience, to create win-win partnerships with the best content in the gaming landscape. It is a genuine competitive landscape.
Your challenge as a Business Development Manager
- Increase new game volume on the web: sign and onboard new studio partners by going through the full partner cycle from outreach to integration to deal.
- Use your analytical skills, build tools, and use data to help service both existing and new partners at scale through the developer onboarding process.
- Bring a structured and data-driven approach: use our web-gaming data repository to make data-centric contributions to development partner prospecting and prioritization; use market analytics to tailor pitches and set up outreach strategy. Build and maintain a healthy pipeline.
- Ability to understand and articulate our product including our own SDK, Poki for Developers, and Poki GD. This means building genuine domain expertise for mobile-to-web conversion and E-Commerce. You must build genuine relationships within the industry and share our enthusiasm with developer partners we work with.
You
- Are B2B-first: you love B2B topics, are naturally curious, and interested in creating impact.
- Combining strong communication skills with data-driven decision-making.
- You can prospect: you can research, validate, and outreach to leads in order to build conversations with them.
- You can navigate complex multi-stakeholder deals — managing processes, timelines, expectations across different parties from start to finish.
- You are curious about Poki. You have seen our SDK and want to help us grow our web ecosystem and game catalogue. Strong understanding of gaming/entertainment/technology.
- 5+ years of experience, ideally in a startup or fast-paced B2B sales environment.
- You love autonomy: taking personal accountability, acting as a project lead of your own area of focus.
Bonus experience
- Software or SaaS in the casual gaming market.
- An MBA or equivalent work experience from a top firm.
- Some coding experience.

- Freedom to shape your role, along with strong leadership and mentoring.
- Professional Development Budget for courses and conferences.
- 42 days of paid leave per year, dependent on a country's days.
- Full setup: laptop and other gear, whatever you need to be at your best; for the hybrid-remote work environment, also a work-from-home setup.
- One-off relocation grant of up to €3,500 from a home in Europe.
- You will be able to actually make this your job; between 80-100% fits this job perfectly.
